The Institute for Biomedical Sciences at Georgia State University, a large urban university located in downtown Atlanta, invites applications for a non-tenure track Lecturer position pending budgetary approval. The primary responsibilities are to instruct courses during the academic year, with the possibility to teach summer classes as well. Candidates should have a strong background in translational biomedical science research and education and will be responsible for teaching courses including the following: Careers in Biomedical Sciences, Experimental Approaches in Biomedical Research, Scientific Communication (Critical Thinking Through Writing), Host Microbial Interactions in Health and Disease, Selected Topics, and other related courses as needed, as well as overseeing internships and supervising honors theses. A PhD, MD or equivalent terminal degree is required.  The position is available to start immediately and is renewable based on annualevaluations.
