Responsibilities: The primary purpose of the Undergraduate Work Study Student is to provide field experiences in their chosen field of study. The work study student is responsible for observing the functions and processes of the assigned work unit. In addition, the work study student may be given selected work assignments to reinforce the learning experience and to provide benefit to the work unit. The work study student will be responsible for completing all work study student-related assignments and reports for both Mayo and the participating educational facility. The duration and timing of the work study studentship will be arranged with the work study student and the sponsoring educational facility in compliance with the financial aid award amount.

Qualifications: The incumbent must be enrolled in a degree program from a college or university and possess skill set to do assigned work.

Exemption Status: Non-exempt
Compensation Detail: Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The minimum pay rate is $10.50 per hour.
