Job Description:

HealthPartners Institute is currently seeking a Research Survey Specialist to work at our Survey Research Center in Bloomington. This entry level position will utilize a prescribed protocol/script to gather information from research study participants over the phone. In addition, this role will maintain and update the project database, with help with facilitating the progress of study functions and will assist with preparing, mailing and tracking communication. This position offers a flexible schedule anywhere between 8 – 32 hours/week depending on your availability. The Survey Research Center is open Monday – Thursday 9am – 8:30pm, Friday - Saturday 9am – 5:30pm. Your schedule will include working 2 Saturday’s/month. We set our scheduled 2-3 weeks in advance and it can vary each week depending on your availability. This position is not eligible for benefits

Additional responsibilities include:

Interview participants via phone following prescribed protocol.

Enter screening and appointment information into database.

*

Schedule research procedures and informs staff.

*

Prepare for one-on-one and group participant appointments (prepare meeting room, assemble documentation forms, checklists, lab materials, etc.).

Facilitate appointments (collects forms, administers questionnaires, performs research procedures and measurements, schedules future appointments).

*

Assist in preparation of mailed surveys.

*

Prepare, mail and track communication as required.

*

Maintain and follow timelines for project completion and project documentation.

*

Assists with adherence activities.

*

Supplies data for reports.

This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent. In addition, strong computer skills, exceptional communication skills, strong organizational skills and attention to detail are required. This role requires someone who can easily adapt to shifting priorities as well as the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with project staff and participants. Knowledge of basic research methods or survey methodology is ideal.
