Job Description:

We have an exciting opportunity for an Oncology RN at our Riverside Clinic in Minneapolis. This person will effectively provide high quality service to both inpatient and outpatients and will make independent nursing diagnoses and develop plans of care based on patient assessment. This person will also create and implement dynamic teaching plans based upon patient need and will act as a resource for other staff.

SCHEDULE:
Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 8:30am – 5:30pm

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

*

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

*

Current RN licensure in Minnesota

*

Current RN licensure in Wisconsin within two months of hire

*

Minimum two years recent experience in hospital oncology setting or two years recent experience in an out-patient (IV/Chemotherapy) setting.

*

Chemotherapy certification

*

OCN certification required within one year of hire

*

Excellent peripheral and central line IV skills

*

Current CPR certification required within 6 months of hire, and maintain

*

Strongly demonstrated written and oral communication skills
