We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Social Media Strategist. The Social Media Strategist will define the paid social strategy, then build, optimize and report learnings for multiple campaigns within the care brands of HealthPartners.

HealthPartners is the largest consumer-governed, nonprofit health care organization in the nation, providing care, coverage, research and education to improve the health of members, patients and the community. Our digital landscape includes digital properties and communications for HealthPartners, Park Nicollet, Regions Hospital, TRIA Orthopedic, Melrose Center and more.

Accountabilities:

The Social Media Strategist will partner with marketing planners to learn about the business opportunity or problem we are trying to solve and develop recommendations for paid social media campaigns aligned with holistic marketing plans. This position will be responsible for building, executing, optimizing and analyzing paid social media campaigns for multiple care brands within HealthPartners.

This position requires proven expertise of social media platforms and campaign best practices, optimization strategies and actionable reporting. The role at times will also be expected to create content (including but not limited to writing posts, tweets, blogs and selecting images). Budget planning and organizational skills are important to manage multiple campaigns

Specific responsibilities include:

* Build and execute social media strategy through platform determination, benchmarking and audience identification.
* Use problem-solving skills to figure out how to best communicate HealthPartners message on different platforms.
* Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information.
* Facilitate good project organization of multiple campaigns as it relates to the key aspects; communication, education, timing and budget management.
* Create paid promotional calendar of strategic priorities while having an eye to frequency of messages to audiences from various brands.
* Continuously research what is happening in the fast changing world of social and digital media and new measurement tools being used. Research and monitor activity of competitors.
* Educate best practices to partners across marketing.
* Collaborate with internal copywriters and designers for clear and precise copy and visually appealing graphics, photos and video for social channels.
* Partner with PR, communications to boost organic content (blogs, images, and video) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action.
* Support the PR, communications team by reacting to direct inquires and social media comments to manage reputation, convey sensitive issues or deal with angry customers.

Required Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s degree in marketing, PR, communications, new media, business, computer science or related field. Will consider equivalent experience.
* 5+ years’ hands on experience building and optimizing social media campaigns in Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram and other social channels.
* Strategic consulting skills to help marketing specialists meet and exceed campaign goals.
* Proven examples of campaign optimization to heighten campaign results.
* Established campaign performance reports articulating, key learnings, wins and actionable next steps.
* Experience working with social analytics tools.
* Knowledge of Omni-channel marketing and major marketing channels
* Adequate knowledge of web design, web development, SEM and SEO. Understand the connection of promoting blog content, increase search ranking and driving web traffic builds relationships with our patients, members and community.
* Self-starter, positive attitude, detail and partner-oriented with good multitasking.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Consumer brand and/or health care experience.
* Understanding of Adobe Analytics. Demonstrated partnership with web Analytics teams.
* Ability to create content such as writing blogs, posts, tweets, selecting photos, designing graphics and shooting video.
* Working knowledge on how to create SEM campaigns, manage AdWords.
