Description
Position Information:

We are pleased to announce our search for a Medical Toxicologist to join our faculty.

Regions Hospital's Clinical Toxicology Service and Medical Toxicology Fellowship within HealthPartners Department of Emergency Medicine is expanding. Our service is consult-based, providing bedside care for patients at Regions Hospital, our academic tertiary care Level 1 trauma center located in St. Paul, MN. We provide telephone based clinical care for several area affiliate hospitals, are the home base for a medical toxicology fellowship, and have close ties with the Minnesota Poison Control System. We host a core rotation for the Regions Hospital Emergency Medicine residency, elective rotations for medical students and Internal Medicine residents from the University of Minnesota, and make available additional learning slots for other visiting learners. We have had excellent institutional support for our fellowship and our offered educational rotations. This support carries over into research as well, where our infrastructure allows for providing not only financial support, but research interns, grant writing help, and IRB application assistance.

Preferred candidates will be board certified/board eligible Medical Toxicologist physicians who are also BC/BE in Emergency Medicine and are interested in a dual role position that utilizes both aspects of their specialty training. EM clinical time will be based at Regions Hospital's EMD.

HealthPartners provides a competitive salary and benefits package, paid malpractice coverage and practice variety. For consideration, apply to this posting, or forward your CV and cover letter to sandy.j.lachman@healthpartners.com
