Department: Cardiac Cath Lab

A Life-Changing Career


Responsibilities: Responsible and expected to perform multiple roles within the cardiac laboratory. Job expectations are assisting physicians in procedure by recording, circulating and scrubbing procedures. Assist with the performance of a variety of invasive cardiac, peripheral vascular, structural and pediatric procedures. Operating and monitoring advanced hemodynamic procedures using recording equipment. Able to multi-task by circulating complex procedures. Provide assistance to the physician while scrubbed in for procedures, utilizing sterile technique. The job also includes preparing procedure rooms, prepping patients for procedure, and performing blood work analysis. Performs daily QA and QC checks. Participates in continuous quality improvement activities and educational experiences in support of departmental May be asked to assist with clinical research by management or physicians.

Qualifications: RCIS or RT registry-eligible through an accredited training program. Current BLS certification and communication skills required.

Additional Qualifications: Internal applicants are required to attach their 3 most recent performance appraisals.

License or Certification:
Must be RCIS certified within 12 months of employment. RT(R) must be CI certified through ARRT or RCIS certified through CCI within 18 months. Current BLS certification required.

Exemption Status: Non-exempt
Compensation Detail: Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The minimum pay rate is $28.22 per hour.
Hours/Pay Period: 80
Schedule Details: Full time including call.
