If you're the kind of person who wants to be part of cultivating the most energized, highest-impact culture in the food industry, where you have the opportunity to work on iconic and emerging food brands, then Conagra Brands is the place for you.Position Summary: Under limited supervision researches, gathers data, develops preliminary findings and prepares written reports for the development of new products beginning at conception through successful commercialization.  Contributes to the creation, maintenance, and review of integrated recipes for new or existing items that include: specifications, materials, formulas, equipment, quality and process information for R&D, plant, co-manufacuring and suppliers.  Develops project timelines, creates technical proposals, reports and makes recommendations.  Must be able to work both independently or with a team.  Position Responsibilities:
    Lead  new and existing snacks and/or frozen product development initiatives.Formulate products to achieve cost targets, nutritional profile, ingredient statement, and product attributes of the target product.Processes product recipe changes and maintain accurate records of change.Develop finished product and manufacturing process specifications using SAP, Oracle, and other programs as needed.Develops plan to collect analytical data to support NLEA Labeling requirements, and implements nutritional labeling claims or certification processes as needed on new or existing products.Build and deliver against product development schedules in order to meet project timelines.Conduct plant trials and new product start-ups independently.Collaborate with cross functional team including processing, marketing, finance, packaging and brand design, procurement, and manufacturing.
 Position Requirements:
    BS in Food Science or related field required.Minimum 4 years experience3-4 years work experience in food technology or foodservice is a plusExperience in Baking strongly preferredExperience in Product Development or related field at a food company requiredProven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.Proficient in Microsoft Office Products.Good understanding of food industry standards of quality and food safety, and FDA & USDA regulations.Ability to independently manage project work.
    Demonstrate ability to communicate well and to effectively influence and interact with others to accomplish research goals.Up to 25% travel including flying in US, possibly overseas.  Must be able to travel independently and as a responsible Conagra Brands, Inc. representative.
