Individuals are sought in quantitative systems pharmacology (QSP), pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics, pharmacometrics and related computational areas such as those related to drug discovery and precision medicine.  Applicants with research interests in cancer and neuroscience are preferred. Candidates are expected to develop an independent research program and seek extramural funding and contribute to an evolving curriculum in QSP.

Qualified candidates should possess a Ph.D. degree with demonstrated excellence in research, as well as the potential to be an excellent teacher and mentor. The appointment rank will be commensurate with experience. There are numerous research capabilities both within and outside the College, including the Albany Medical College, the Wadsworth Center, University at Albany, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and the Pharmaceutical Research Institute (part of ACPHS). A number of state of the art core labs, such as genomics, are available at these institutions. New faculty members will be provided their own research lab and a competitive start-up package.

The application will require a cover letter of interest, curriculum vitae, brief description of research interests and contact information for three references.
